I would like to start, and complete, "War and Peace." This means I would live for another 30 years.

Sorry to highjack this thread again, but is it documented that Walken was present when Wood drowned? Wow.

I'm currently about to re-read Ripperology's War and peace (article), AKA Gavin Bromley's Ms Kür piece.
      Best regards,
      Maria

Hello Maria, yes he was present. Seems they were all drunk. Walken quarrelled with Wagner, then Wagner with Wood. Wagner said he was ready to go to court. Walken could perhaps be charged with failure to assist a person in danger, it depends on the details of the recent "revelation". Wait and see.
Of course they're all innocent til proven etc etc.

48 Hours Mystery had a segment on Hollywood murders 3 weeks ago and had a big segment on the Natalie Wood death. I was shocked to here what's being alleged. The evidence comes from the captain of the boat (the only other person on the boat besides RJ, Walken, and Wood), and also some people in a boat not far away who heard a woman screaming for a length of time.

                Yours truly,

                Tom Wescott

It continues to amaze me that we seem collectively incapable of adhering to our own rules. If you want to start a new topic, start a new thread; but, for heaven's sake, don't keep hijacking this one.

                        You're right, Maurice, sorry.

Currently waiting for Evelyn Waugh but nothing yet, then !

A good thriller, Steve, though lacking suspense.
