    aliases

Hello Ian. It could be an alias, of course. And I daresay you're correct about Mary Kelly!

    Cheers.

If he was worth his salt, and keen as mustard, John Kelly would have used the pepper to catch a seasoned serial killer before he could butcher the missus.

      Condiments to all,

        spice of life

Hello Caz. Well, it seems you are far ahead of me with the puns; hopefully, I shall later catch up to you.

I am afraid, however, that I relish only the good puns--the others need to be sent to the Mayo clinic. But even they add spice to things.

        Cheers.

Maybe it was done to curry favor with those who opposed the anarchists.

I'll probably write more later. Right now I am just trying to catch up.

Oops. My apologies to Lynn. I see he beat me to the catch up pun.

                  and then there's . . .

                  Hello CD. No problem.

I will say this somewhat gingerly: you always grace us with your sage posts, at least, whenever you have sufficient thyme.

                  Cheers.

                          age

Hello Jon. Thanks. I have seen various ages given. Is there a definitive source?

                          Cheers.

                            Hello Lynn

46 years was the age Kelly gave on admission to the Whitechapel Infirmary on the 29th Nov 88.

                            Found here:
Discussion for general Whitechapel geography, mapping and routes the killer might have taken. Also the place for general census information and "what was it like in Whitechapel" discussions.

See Sam`s spreadsheet on post #11.
