Perusing the web- as you do I came across this wonderful family who intermarried with the Levy family and lived within the Spitalfields area at the time .
There are some interesting descendants here too- least of all Harriet 'Hetty' Assenheim born 1880 Spitalfields who was the grandmother of Joan and Jackie Collins.
Google The Assenheims and there's a tremendous website- including Louis Levy who worked as a cigar maker at 198 Hanbury St
