    Colleagues,
I am trying to discover what articles appeared on the front page of The Times on 31 March 1898. I don't know how I can find this information
here in America. Can anyone suggest how I might conduct this research? My guess is it appears on microfiche somewhere but I can't get to London to do the search. As always, I appreciate your help.

    Barrister,

I don't have a sub to this otherwise I would tell you, but you can get a free trial and look at the page.

      Hi Barrister,

No articles appeared on the front page of The Times, 31st March 1898.

The front page was all classified ads.

What is it you are looking for?

      Regards,

      Simon

        Dr. Edward Aveling

I am trying to locate obituaries on Dr. Edward Aveling, the partner of Eleanor Marx, who died August 2, 1898. He was suspected by many socialists of having a role in the suicide (?) of Miss Marx. There was great pressure on police to investigate his role in her death, but nothing seems to have happened. Anything touching on the request for such an investigation, and the decision not to do so, would be very helpful.

Have you read "Eleanor Marx - A Life" by Rachel Holmes?
