  • Hanbury St. 3D Version ONE

Okay, this is a ROUGH first version fly-thru of 29 Hanbury Street. I'd like feedback please on how accurate/inaccurate the interior and back yard is.

The animation is a bit slow and jumpy because it's a fast render. The final version will be better.

    thanks

Fascinating stuff, Richard. It seems strange to claim that a CGI creation can seem spooky but that does. I don't feel qualified to comment on accuracy or otherwise though.
I won't always agree but I'll try not to be disagreeable.

Very well done Richard, and I can imagine the more senior of us will recognise that touch of Hitchcock as the film unwinds, from the murder site, back out into the street..

        Brilliant!

            Hitchcockian is a good description.

Put figures in it & I wouldn't be able to sleep for days.

Great stuff, Richard, and it brings home the point that the murder site was overlooked not only by the back windows, but by the windows of the houses north of the yard too.

No lack of opportunity to be spotted.

That really hit home with me as well, Robert - a most compelling experience. Keep up the good work, Richard!

Here is Version 2. Still rough around the edges but it's getting there.

I'm speechless, a rarity, & I thank you deeply. This helps newbies so much.

                              Hi Robert (and Gareth)

Actually the yard was overlooked only by factories (where there would have been nobody working at that hour) on all sides according to the 1890 Goad Map expertly copied and posted by Rob Clack.

                              Hi Richard

Your work here is astonishingly good, almost magical.
