  • Barnaby, Burgho and Farquharson

Wasn't sure where to post this.

But Edwin Brough, owner of Barnaby and Burgho was a breeder of some successful show and tracking dogs.

Now Henry Farquharson had Newfoundlands, a kennel of over 129 dogs at one point. And owned a winner at Crufts (probably the most famous dog show in the world).

Can't help but ponder if they knew each other, and if so what information about the Whitechapel murders they may have shared.
    G U T

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.

They could have corresponded; I believe I heard somewhere that animal breeders maintained a degree of professional contact. There could be letters archived somewhere, though if those letters do exist they might well be in a private collection. This isn't my area of expertise so I can't advise you on where to look. Maybe someone else could.
