  • 'Shadow of the Ripper' 1988 On YouTube

This classic Ripper documentary was added to YouTube a month ago. It was made by Sir Christopher Frayling for BBC & the series Timewatch, which is one of my favorite shows.

          Hi everybody; you're very welcome.

I'm going to try to watch it soon as possible. I just checked my YouTube 'Watch Later' playlist, and 9 videos I was going to watch have been deleted from YouTube!
Even their names and the posters' names were erased so I don't know which ones they were. Bummer.

          Best regards,
          Archaic

I downloaded this, and other JtR documentaries on www.veoh.com over a year ago. Terrific documentary.

              A Royal Watergate?

No doubt this has been put here before, but I didn' know that the Barlow and Watt series from 1973 was on youtube:

It is on there, but the segment on the double event seems to be missing.

Thanks for posting this. This is an excellent documentary that I had not yet seen. I really liked how it focused on both the liberal and conversative newspapers as creators of the prototypical JTR suspects.
