  • Should we have an 'Ask Ally' personal advice thread?

Following on from her no nonsense advice to chainzcooper on the other thread i would like to nominate her as our resident agony aunt.

Any relationship problems, sexuality issues, financial troubles, depression, all can be dealt with. Preferably in an open thread but im sure she can give advice by pm.

I believe her area of speciality is in building self esteem.

    Ask Ally

    Brilliant idea, Jason! I'll start.

    Dear Ally,
I am middle-aged, overweight. and worried about my health but I can't seem to stop smoking, eating pies, and drinking dangerous quantities of lager. Please help.

    Yours,
    A. Limey.

I, for one, believe that Ally actually does know everything. If I were you guys, I wouldn't invite her wrath.

Yikes. No, I'm not suggesting that, David. I'm not suggesting anything...except, maybe, you should take cover.

Yeah, I suppose. Better to face Bin Laden than an enraged Ally.

I think you should really try to cut down on the worrying. Worrying can be really bad for your health.
