The company is mentioned briefly in Riordan's Prince of Quacks, on p. 131:
Tumblety paid $80 for a ticket from New York to Liverpool. Prior to his departure, he secured a line of credit from Williams & Guion drawn on the London firm of A.S. Petrie & Son.

      Chris,

Is this a case of, when an American comes to live in England for an extended amount of time, they must register? If so, is this merely the location Tumblety registered at?
