  • 1876 - Eneas Sweetland Dallas

Does anyone have access to an article, or story, written by Dallas in or about 1876 in the journal 'Once a Week' which features a Cutbush who leaps over walls and onto roofs like Spring Heeled Jack?

    Hi AP,

If you're able to narrow it down to a specific issue, I may be able to help. Or PM me the link or your lead on this source.

I say this because the University of Kansas has 41 volumes, and a narrower date would help with a search.

As the title suggests, the journal was a weekly.

        Thanks JM
        all I found was this:

        ' Once a Week - Page 232
by Eneas Sweetland Dallas - 1876

Where are you going, Cutbush?" " Back," said Cutbush—" 'taint garden here. ...
Get off my grounds, sir — this instant, sir. Darley, Cutbush ... '
